In cooperation with Kühne Logisitics University, the International School of Hamburg invited representatives from international institutions to be part of the first International Exchange Summit Hamburg.
Providing a platform for international exchange - that was the goal ISH and Kühne Logisitics University had in mind when they came up with the idea of holding the first ever International Exchange Summit Hamburg. And what a success it was!
On a Tuesday evening in November, representatives of Hamburg’s foreign clubs, bilateral organizations and international institutions headed to ISH to be part of the first International Exchange Summit Hamburg. Consul General of the United States, Mr. Richard Yoneoka, as well as the Consul General of India, Mr. Madan Lal Raigar, were among the approximately 30 attendees.
ISH’s Acting Head of School, Andrew Cross, and Kühne Logisitics University’s President, Thomas Strothotte opened the evening by welcoming attendees to the summit. Renowned keynote speaker Tim Cole followed with a very insightful and entertaining presentation about the impact of digital transformation. After Mr. Cole’s presentation, attendees were discussing the impulses from his speech and were exchanging thoughts and ideas on international subjects.
A very successful and lively evening was held at ISH, which indicates an effective first collaboration between ISH and Kühne Logisitics University. Both of Hamburg’s international educators are very much looking forward to hosting similar events in the near future, so stay tuned!
