The International Fair has always been a beloved tradition at ISH. It is our way of celebrating the many vibrant cultures that make up our community. In times in which hundreds of thousands of people are driven from their homes for having the “wrong” religious or political beliefs and in which terrorists try to instill fear and drive us apart in our own countries, the International Fair sends a signal of unwavering tolerance.
As always, the Fair started with a Flag Ceremony during which our students – some wearing their traditional folk costumes - carried with pride the flags of all the countries represented at ISH.
Once again, the day was a festival of international food, entertainment, and fun for all ages. It was also a chance to win some fantastic country baskets, and tombola prizes donated by generous local businesses and private donors.
If you missed it this year, don't miss again in 2016.
