FAQs

Q: Which instruments are taught in the programme?

Instruction is currently available on the following instruments: Piano, Guitar, Voice, Drums/Percussion, Viiolin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn. Tutoring in Music Theory and Ear Training is also available.

Q: How much do lessons cost?

For the school year 2017/2018 the fees are €20/30mn, €30/45mn, €40/60mn.

Q: Are there any musical ensembles that my child can participate in?

Yes. Currently, there is a Junior Choir directed by Marjorie Patterson (grades 1-5) and a Secondary School Band directed by Christopher Graham (grades 6-12). 

Q: Will my child participate in concerts?

Yes. The students have the opportunity to participate in several concerts during the year.

Q: Where do the lessons take place?

In the Music Department of the school and in other classrooms when available.

Q: How do I enroll my child?

You can download an application from the link on the right or request one from the ISH reception. The completed application can also be handed in at the reception.
